I think she is being very realistic about the whole thing, she tells me she is completely at peace with it. That is the advantage of having a functioning mind at our ending I think.
Its always hard when we lose people. And yes, having a functioning mind makes all the difefrence.
I'm starting to think that hospices should have a part of their premises for those who wish to legally end their suffering; it must be very hard for those are in hospice care who want to but are prevented by hospice policy, & so have to go elsewhere.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
