I too would prefer to have a landline. BUT
When going to the homes it meant i could show them things they wouldnt normally see or look things up for them.
So they have their places.
But they are a pain in the Neck literally when you are diamond painting, which for me means holding the phone under my chin while holding a magnifying glass in one had and the pen in the other, while talking to a friend who has her on speaker. Much easier for her.
If I get calls from numbers I dont know, I ignore them. My cousin has a private number but we have a signal. otherwise yep
