morning ladies
We're in for some rain today, finally.
Genesis offers a power shout where you can book free hours, even up to an hour before you need/want them. They offer free hours every quarter or on some special occasions (like our anniversary with them) and you can build them up to use all at once or spread as many hours as you like over time. You have two years to use the hours. I've been using them this summer while we have the hose on the garden as we have to run the water pump and in winter, I'll use them so I can run the drier if needed. But I make sure I pick the 'expensive' times of the day to make the most of the 'free' time. I've also found Gensis have staff working 24/7 so when our power went out the other Sunday, I phoned and spoke to a real person. I think this is worth a wee bit more on the bill. As for bundles, Consumer said to look carefully at them as they may not be saving you much, if anything. We're with a rural internet provider as Spark et al were hopeless. Our internet is Wi-Fi, and we don't need cables. No interruption with speed or downloads and can change our plan anytime we like. No buffering like we used to have and once again, the phone is answered within a minute, and I speak to a real person if we have a query. I believe you get what you pay for.
It looks like it's going to be an indoor kind of day today. I'm finally having my haircut lol. My hairdresser was sick and had to postpone my last appointment. Whatever bug she had, it went right through her family. And I'll be able to cuddle one of the Furry One's brothers
Next to the Furry One, this little guy was my favourite lol. Full of trouble even at four weeks old
