morning ladies
We have rain... and wind, lottsss of wind!
Buggar about the Covid, OHH. Thank goodness you are vaccinated, it makes it easier in the long run. It's still a nasty bug though. And there are people who think Covid has gone. I don't think it will ever be 'gone'.
Ohhh Jan, that's awful, what a nasty person. And sadly, there isn't much you can do about it.
The ablation was done without any issues. The person whose turn I took had the flu
and I know I shouldn't be happy about that but omg I am lol. The staff were wonderful, cheerful and knowledgeable and explained everything as we went along. I now have a brand spanking new file at Waikato, the last surgery I had was for a ligament reconstruction in my ankle during 2020. The nurse giving the sedative asked how much would I like so I told her, knock me out please lol. I could feel the blood pressure cuff going on and off (ouch!) and the tightness in my chest as my heart reacted to the procedure. But it wasn't painful and all over in an hour and a half. I slept pretty much through all of it. The doctor/surgeon was happy so I'm happy. There are still a few flutters but according to the literature they sent me home with, it will be a month before it all settles down. BUT my heart beat going from 56 (slow thanks to the meds) to 146 within seconds was a tad worrying there for a bit. A week of light duties and a follow up at some stage and I should be fine. The only sore bit is my groin where they went in. Ohhhhh and the echo was amazing lol. I saw my heart beating and the chambers, so very cool.
My sister-in-law by chance lol wanted to visit Wairere Nursery on the way home from the hospital so we picked up the three roses they had waiting for me. And I spied another Austin, omg Litchfield Angel is gorgeous. So here I was wandering around a garden center in the rain only hours after a heart procedure lol. My sister-in-law is going to plant them for me, and I'll make a slideshow of her travel pics for a talk she is giving at her garden group.
Over the next few wet days, I plan to sort through more stuff for the op shop. I've already started a pile. MrK wants to go through his clothes as well.
Time to move, happy crafting
