Some realities about immigrants:
They do the jobs citizens don't want to do, but depend on.
They commit far fewer crimes than citizens.
They pay taxes. The wealthy often pay none.
They work for much lower wages than citizens.
They create businesses and strong communities that support each other.
Their children have birthright citizenship rights.
They are escaping regimes and lives often undermined by the negative actions of the US state.
And, as pointed out in another thread, most citizens are the children of immigrants. Immigrants build nations...
