American senator to travel to El Salvador in search of deported man

The senator was able to have a meeting with Kilmar Abrego Garcia. El Salvador's president has refused to release him & the senator was stopped by armed guards on his way to the meeting. The El Salvador president appeared to mock the visit, commenting that Mr Garcia had 'miraculously risen from the death camps & torture in the tropical paradise of El Salvador, & having been seen to be alive & healthy now gets to stay in El Salvador's custody.'
