Yes, lots of people sacrificed for others during covid, and saved lives by doing so. It is interesting though how few objected at the time, to making those sacrifices, but in the aftermath a lot seem to have reviewed their position on protecting the vulnerable and keeping our health system from collapse.
I'm just grateful they did, but I do feel really sorry for two friends who were going through cancer treatment during that time, and had to endure the delays and stress of both. One in particular lost a lot of time she might otherwise have had with friends and family because of the lockdowns, and she really felt that grief. Lovely woman, I miss her a lot.
