We go back next Tuesday to have the catheter removed and he is on a heavy dose of antibiotics for three weeks. The District Nurse will be here tomorrow to show us how to empty it and so on. We are so lucky with our health system. For all its faults, it is far better than most.
The washing machine arrives between 12 - 1.00pm tomorrow. I have cleaned where it will go and emptied the draw under the tub, put the draw in another room for now and cleaned there are well. They will even take the old machine away. Our neighbour whose fence was smashed to smithereens has repaired it and only the van's skid marks are left to show where the accident happened.
