I've had fun shopping. Stayed within the self imposed budget.. Ended up getting normal but super soft bath towels cos the Hand towels are ridiculously small. Would be dripping within 3 hand washes Max. Got the hooks and eyes to do the other doorway.
Looked at the candles, they had pretty little ones in jars online but I found 2 and man they stunk lol... So got to slightly bigger ones. Ambience. And the scent is Waiheke Island, its sooo pretty.
Bonus buy was two red placemats, the same make up as the ones they had at the rest home Christmas dinner, but slightly different in design. I had loved them soo much back then that I got two for the wee breakfast bar. But will probably end up on the coffee table when its painted.
I am enjoying buying fruit and vege's again. I like my own style coleslaw but dont like the white of the cabbage much. but found a nice half of one that has heaps of green...
Best buy was 3 kg, yep 3kg cans of Oak peaches for $6-99 at reduced to clear. I have peaches on my creamed rice for breakfast so they are in the store cupboard.
Right Ill do my games then hand sew the curtain.. Will be faster than digging the sewing machine out...
