Ask them how they feel about that.  Remember I come from Zambia/Northern Rhodesia which was colonized by Britain made Independent in 1964.

The present day Zambians are so much happier now then thy were under colonial rule.  As you would expect for yourself they enjoy determining their own future not being told what to do.
