We have another fine, calm day today. Love it!
That was a great speech, OHH. Ricardo was so right in saying what he did. That's another bill snuck in without proper discussion and consultation. And snuck in late in the evening when everyone is tired and the public aren't aware of it. Once again, lower income families pay the price. And why wasn't the Speaker there, can't he stay awake! Ba***** in the first degree.
Yesterday I had a big clean up around the back of the house. MrK has had fence posts and the like stacked against the house which he has never used or is ever likely to use (he admitted it lol). I moved it all out into the middle of the yard so he could see what he would like to keep and what to give away. Our neighbour then came over with the kids and took it all away
They will cut it up and it should give them a few more weeks of firewood. A win-win for us both. I also advertised a pile of old bricks we will never use on FB and they sold within minutes. $$ in the bank straight away and they will be picked up today. I was thinking some big garden pots along the side of the house could work. Just have to find plants that will live in pretty much constant shade over winter. It will have to wait until the pump has been paid for though.
It's our 40th wedding anniversary today. Boy, those 40 years have flown by. Many said we wouldn't last two lol. Somehow, I knew they were wrong.
