CCleaner used to be good in Windows XP days.
Now it's verging on adware garbage, given all the bundled crap I saw in the installer, last time I ever used it.
Yes, I suspect all the warnings are just scare tactics, to get you to subscribe and pay money.
They are probably not outright fake, but are likely just minor issues that are being described as worse than they really are.
I wouldn't bother with CCleaner anymore, but then I also don't bother with Windows anymore, either.
