If there are Oscars in the world of cats, then Madame le Cat would win it, paws down.
This morning's get-the-human-up performance really was extraordinary. It began with a series of loudish meows, with longish gaps in between, gradually getting quieter & quieter with shorter gaps as the anguish grew.
And then the final heartbroken meow, barely audible yet expressing all the pain of having a mean, evil, neglectful human.
And the Oscar goes to..Madame le Cat!
It did work,though..blardy cat.

in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
