Living near the naval base means we get a few more than just the usual, and we are under the flight path to the city chopper base, and the Auckland Hospital one, so we are sort of used to them. But they are a pain. Part of city living I'm afraid.
One thing though, when my niece opened her salon in an expensive part of town I asked her why she picked that, the rent must've been high. But as she pointed out her best clients flew in by helicopter, and ubered to her place to get their weekly $500 shampoo and blow wave so that took care of the rent...
She retired at 30. Not silly that one, lol...
Blardy hell - $500 for a shampoo!
The Scots blood just went into shock...
