Photos "sync pending"
#5
What you have to be careful with is that by default OneDrive syncs the photo and desktop and several other common folders, so while you think you are putting them in one place, you aren't ( kind of). You need to look in the OneDrive settings and select only the folders you want to sync.  First, put the photos somewhere that OneDrive isn't syncing, then untick the places you don't want to sync.

You also have to select either actual linked or full download.  Do a google search for "tell OneDrive what to sync" You'll get a AI response along with several videos on how to set it.

The AI response is WRONG -- you can disable photos, Documents -- Its all under Settings - Manage Backups -- turn off the folder-- Simple.

To follow on from last nights post. Now with Pic's Smile

To manage what's backed up and what's not in OneDrive:

You can add your own folders for anything that's backed up, OR turn off all the defaults.- It's totally up to you.

Open OneDrive from the Icon Tray - Settings ( cog) - Settings - Manage Backups- Turn off or on anything you want or not. See Pics.
