Morning everyone
The cars over the back are white... well orange and white and black and white.
Up at a decent hour today as Im baking shortbread for Gayle later.. Have to pop up for icing sugar, corn flour and a card. She is coming for a cuppa in the morning, her 60th Birthday. She might have the largest Nursery in town but secretly she doesn't like crowds so no big celebration for her..
I totally get what you mean Hunni, there is something to be said about older furnishings and ones we like.. I have had to start wearing slippers full time cos I love the polished floors but they are slippery. I've decided Ill have an Indoor set of crocks for the summer.
My grandfather and second wife lived in council Flats in Northcoat. All I remember is they were a pale blue colour, two stories, not that I ever remember going upstairs. We only visited, we never stayed. And he didn't have flowers in the gardens, which pretty much surrounded their unit, he grew veges. They always had a budgie, Nana Es was excellent at teaching them to talk, I am too and even tho I told everyone I got it from Nana, she wasn't a blood Nana.
Patience is a virtue Kiwimade lol... I have always had tons of the stuff, I do find my fuse is shorter as I age tho.
Need to phone the jeweler later, one of my rings I had made larger has broken along the join, not sure when or how, but they spin even worse now. Even tho I had them tied together.
Right better sort myself out.. Ive had a message from the Aussie friend I ended with on my old face book. not sure if I can still get in there but i might try, just to see what she said, not to reply at all. Sill tart knows I dont go in there but still had to try.
Have a good day all
