It needed to be said, mica.  Am over his self pity and woe is me shi*.  Yes, you are in pain, that's what pain relief is for.  I am not your maid.  Think about things you can do, pick up after yourself.  I've noticed he's moving a bit quicker now on the walker, so he can do it.  I don't care if others think I am a bi**h, he needed to hear some home truths yesterday.  I will help when needed but he needs to realise, there is stuff he can do.

And I know what you are saying about the $$$.  MrK and I both need new glasses and him a hearing aid.  Over the years it has been MrK who has needed them more but now it's me as well.

I'm sure you did the right thing, KM. If only because the consequences of him not doing so could eventually be dire & affect both of you.

Another frosty start here but sunny now, had to wear the Aztec hat for the obligatory morning walk.
