morning ladies
It's lovely and calm this morning, the calm before the storm I suspect.
I haven't played Scrabble for years, might have to find a virtual version of it.
The recycling needs to be done today or tomorrow. I have a very full bag of soft plastics to take to Countdown next time we are in town. Amazing how much plastic is used these days. At least this way they will be turned into fenceposts or something similar. The new paper bags used for putting your fruit and veg in at Pak n Save is thinner and kept ripping. I think I'll go back to using the fruit and veg bags I sewed. At least they won't fall apart on me.
I need to buy some aniseed, apparently, it's lovely on tamarillos. Thought we could give it a whirl seeing as I succumbed and bought a few yesterday.
I've decided to work the hardanger 'my way' as I need more practice using this stitch. I know how to sew it; it's just used slightly differently. A few more days and it should be finished.
Time to make some more bird pudding, the dripping reeks as it melts so windows are open. I put an apple out yesterday lunchtime and it has been finished already.
