Funny thing, I was describing the symptoms to my daughter last night and she said 'it sounds like MS...'which of course she would know and recognise. So I researched, and found a thing called CIDP which ticks all the boxes. Very like MS, only not brain focused, but limb nerves, and can affect just one limb as Tatty experiences it. Not curable, heavy medication long term with cortico steroids, not something I can manage.
But we will see.
OHH possibly an autoimmune condition but prob not CIDP. I have CIDP luckily I am a chronic relapser currently in remission period. Cats can tolerate higher doses compared to humans and dogs.
Good to get another vet check diagnosis by eliminating possible causes. Then easier for you to make an informed decision for Tatty. Cyber hugs for you both its always stressful when our companions unwell
It's fun to have fun but you have to know how
