morning ladies
Another gorgeous day is here.
That's a weird thing to happen, OHH. If you pay for postage, you expect it to be posted. Personal delivery is something you arrange between you, not one party saying they will do it.
Our magnolias are almost flowering, the flower buds are beginning to split, and you can see the deep pink. The new magnolia, 'Butterflies' is a bit harder to see but they won't be far away either. And the native buttercup is flowering. Spring is almost here. Hopefully the ground is a bit warmer for weeding today.
I have one corner finished on the hardanger and have started another. So far so good
and I'm happy to stitch it 'my way'. I'll have to practice this other technique and work out the best way for this left hander to do it. I often have to reverse or work patterns upside down to make it work.
Better put some more bird food out for the birds. This will probably be the last we put out as the days are becoming warmer. And besides, some of those sparrows are realllllllly tubby! The mynahs are bullies, and we can't wait for the cabbage tree to go so they will leave. We heard our resident thrush this morning for the first time this spring. You can pretty much set your clock by it from now on.
Have a good day
