I recently read the Bookshop Detectives, there is 2 in the series. It's a couple of English exCops who have come to NZ and set up a bookshop in Havelock North, and get involved in mysteries. But - it's them ! The authors are a couple of English exCops who have set up a bookshop in Havelock North...and write detective novels. The names are slightly altered, but she has bright red hair same as in the books. Not outstanding, but good reads.
