morning ladies
We have a real pea souper here this morning, you can't even see across the road. Haven't had fog for a while so this makes a change
Zoe, our first point of call for mrK was our GP. She is wonderful, pushy when she needs to be and very very kind. We changed doctors a few years ago after 30 years with our GP. I felt terrible about it, but needs must at the time. It has proven to be the best decision we made.
I also enjoy fixing things if I can. There is something about giving things another chance. MrK has said he is going to teach me
to use all of his power tools. I know how to use the skill saw and drill, but this is next level. Up until now, his power tools have been a no-go area lol. Fair enough, I wouldn't want him using my sewing machine. It was a pride thing I think that he was the 'fixer upper' in the family. My little chainsaw came as a shock to him lol when he realised I was happily pruning with it instead of asking him to chainsaw a tree stump.
The little petticoat daffs have one flower, all those bulbs for one flower lol. Fingers crossed for next spring. The hyacinths are finally dying down so today I'll dig out a bigger pot and repot them. Then they can go to the back of the garden to finish dying off and prepare for next spring. The muscari can also be planted out under a camellia. I need the pot they are in
The hydrangea cuttings I took while pruning have all taken and they will need individual pots until they are big enough to move into bigggg pots. It will also give me time to find some nice big pots for them. If the weather warms up, MrK will sit in the sun and 'supervise'
Our road has gone very quiet, that usually means there is an accident somewhere on the Kaimais or thereabouts. The fog is starting to clear but we still can't see the Kaimai Ranges.
Time to get moving, MrK needs a hand dressing.
Have a good one.
