Entered a local address (not my real one to avoid being spammed) and the candidates who this website gave green ticks was enough evidence of its intent. Good to confirm those I had already binned.

Paul Barlow's Youtube channel is a great resource for guidance on your local body vote. This a sample on our local area with other videos for many councils so check his channel out.

I found the tool rather useful.
There is one candidate that I considered to be woke as fuck and backed maori wards, but has signed all  pledges so im  considering voting for them now.
On the other hand, there are some who have publicly promised to keep rates below inflation but not signed the pledge, so they loose my vote.
I dont know about you, but I would have to be fucked in the head to vote for someone who doesn't give a shit about the ratepayer and is happy to permit rates hikes to unaffordable levels.
