I saw our first monarch butterfly for the season this morning
It made my day, a little bit of joy. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts, every now and then the tears come but they are becoming fewer.
MrK built me a bookshelf in one of the spare bedrooms. There was a lotttt of swearing involved lol as it goes around a corner. He built it so we could put doors on it if we wanted too. We went through our books last year and donated loads to the book fair. Ended up coming home from the fair with just as many lol. I can't imagine not having books in the house. Kids complain they had nothing to do back in the day, read a book! And our love of books has been passed on through the generations with both of our kids and grandkids avid readers. Books tend to be 'recycled' throughout MrK's family too, we're always swapping them. The last person gets to either keep, donate, or if asked, returned to the original owner.
Ohh, and Lilith, your post about re-reading Watership Down has inspired me to do the same at some stage. MrK has a gorgeous copy of it bought many moons ago.

Life is a one time offer, use it well
