Where do you think all the disadvantaged people in NZ would be sleeping at night if the taxpayer didn't look after them Heisenberg?  We would then have a whole different set of problems to deal with.

yea the good old taxpayers eh.................... lets make them pay more

If you had any real appreciation of the impacts of, and cost to society, of homeless and disenfranchised people you would know better than to see social support as a cost with no returns.
