morning ladies
We have another wet day. Not that it bothers me at the moment as I will be with MrK for most of the day.
SueDonim, I don't rent but would like to say 'thank you' for the information you have given on this thread about renter's rights. It's concise and clear and I'm sure there are others who post or don't, who will find this information helpful. So, thank you
We sure have a variety of people here
with lots of interesting backgrounds.
MrK would eventually like to come home, and I would love him to be able to do this. In our talks yesterday, we mapped out a rough plan for him to do this. In my heart of hearts, I know the chances of him coming home are very slim. But, he felt we needed to have something said and a rough plan. Today, I'll try and steer the conversation to what-if-you-can't-we-need-a-plan-B. If he can't come home, I'll need our GP's help to tell him. I also need to ask the head nurse to change his meal size to 'small' as he can't eat everything served to him. The medium sized meal is huge. The other day for lunch he had two big pieces of roast beef, potatoes, pumpkin and peas with peaches for pudding. For dinner he had a bread roll filled with pulled meat and salad goodies and steamed pud. No complaints about the food at all. And the staff are lovely and very respectful. Even the young guy doing the vacuming was so respectful of us both yesterday.
The kitchen is almost squeaky clean. Only the fridge to clean and the ceiling. I'll do the ceiling once I have a new sponge for the mop. The fridge won't take long to do as it is a regular thing anyway. It's good to be kept busy
and I might as well make the most of the wet days as when this rain stops, I'll be back to weeding again.
My Westerland rose is dying along with one of the new roses I planted
I have no idea why, there is no sign of disease that I can see. I'll dig it out in case it has root gall in which case, it needs to go, and I won't be able to plant another rose there for quite some time.
Washing machine is finished and so is my coffee.
Have a good one!
