OH wow, Roma! We were all wondering where you were and hoping you would find us again
Welcome back
yep, a lot has been happening over the last few weeks, all part of life, I suppose.
I haven't taken anything precious up to the rest home. I choose to take his washing home firstly as I don't mind doing it and will have mine to do anyway and secondly, the staff have enough to do without having to do this. Just a small act of appreciation from me. And you can see it on their faces when I tell them to leave his clothes, they do appreciate it.
The embroidery I was starting while sitting with MrK needed unpicking as I've had a better idea for the lion's mane. Now to remember how to do the stitch I have in mind lol. Our daughter has 'borrowed' my favourite embroidery book (Royal School of Needlework) and I suspect it has gone the way of my old sewing machine, never to come home again. I'll have to use the RSN stitch bank online to refresh my memory. AND they often have the left handers version of stitches too
