Our daughter texted and she is coming with us to MrK's oncology appointment. I also have one of the Furry One's paw prints for her to have tattooed onto her arm. He can chase the cat paw prints she also has tattooed lol. Her plan is to have the family pet's prints tattooed around her arm, across her shoulder and to her heart.
Oh I love that idea. And I certainly have the space. But those needles..
When I turned 70 I tried to get a tattoo - we were going out to dinner & I planned to say nothing but just casually let my sleeve slip & shock the grandkids.

So, went to see about getting it done showed the guy a simple design which he said wasn't at all simple, he was an older chap & looked carefully at my arm I wanted it to be on & told him my plan...he explained that sadly my skin wasn't able to have one. I could have it done but wih older skin it tends to never look that good, so he suggested that he could instead draw something on my arm to wave at the grandkids while their jaws dropped.
Unfortunately it wasn't to be because the only day I had free was the only day he couldn't do it - because he was looking after his grandkids!

Eventually, I told the grandkids what I'd been going to do - & the little toads laughed...

in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
