morning ladies
Fingers crossed for no rain tomorrow please.
Indoors can wait for the wet days, OHH
Why spoil a perfectly fine day by doing housework. And besides, what you are doing outside needs to be done anyway so who cares what is done when.
That's my theory, anyway.
It's going to be a busy week with appointments every day and family coming and going. Our neighbour returned our slow cooker yesterday along with some baking as a thank you. She asked me if I was going to move once MrK dies and that was a firm, no. No big decisions will be made for a year, at least. Phew, she said, we like living next to you lol.
While I was talking to MrK on the phone yesterday afternoon, the neighbour's two cats decided to investigate the property. The have obviously figured out the Furry One could be no more, but as I watched, they slunk through the gate (yes, slunk!) together and sniffed all around under the windows right up to the outdoor furniture. The older cat turned quickly giving the younger cat a scare and omg I couldn't stop laughing. He must have leapt a good meter off the ground. They both decided that was enough exploring and risk taking for now and slunk back along the bux hedge and through the gate again. I know they will be frequent visitors once they become braver and I think I had better lock the doggy door.
Dishes to do then out in the garden for another hour before my first appointment of the week and our daughter arrives.
Enjoy your day
