which is reassuring because theyve bungled or shelved everything else theyve touched in two terms of fiscal ineptitude and broken promises.
I think they could have done better with regard to Kiwis needing to come home, especially those with dying family members; getting those people home & the MIQ conditions could have been better.
But that said, its a completely new situation for all govts around the world & its not very likely that no mistakes would have been made, regardless of which lot was in govt.
desperate times desperate measures.
have to protect the tree, not the fruit.
some folks were hard done by. hopefully we can redress some of it.
as you say, uncharted waters etc
