Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Interesting that in the 1600s it was a time in history when the New Year began on March 25th not January 1st. The Julian Calendar was replaced by the Gregorian Calendar, changing the formula for calculating leap years. Finally, 11 days were dropped from the month of September 1752.

Thought that you might find that interesting.
