Trump's progress so far
#21
This is what makes him such a pain in the neck, he seems to have none of the usual human vices like gluttony, drinking alcohol to excess or taking some drug or another, he is like an ascetic and as hard to tolerate as they usually are for normal people.

He just seems to like money grubbing and power indulgence.

No matter what he is very far from a laudable human being to follow as an example unlike most presidents.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

Except for the shameless sexpestery, thievery, cruelty, womanising, selfishness stuff I guess...

In the beginning was Peter Thiel & Elon Musk - future architects of dismantling America

Horrible smug little turds, and one of them lives in NZ.

Yup, we sold our soul to a rich guy. Just like all the rest did. And that is why we get the leadership we deserve, because of our human greed.

And that's what's at the bottom of it all - greed.

I'm really not sure just why greedy people are admired by so many, when there's clearly something very wrong with them.

Anyone who can leave America now should.

I'm seeing numerous articles similar the TechDirt one and it along with many of the comments below it are looking very much like a call to revolution against the actions of Trump, Musk & co. Civil war anyone?

You need to stop bashing rich people.
It's not like all the lefties you support are not global elites either.
The likes of Biden, Harris, Kamala, Bill Gates and klaus schwab are not the ones we need dictating our lives.

It isn't the fact that they're wealthy; its the way in which they behave & use their wealth unfairly.

Perhaps what's needed is a wealth ceiling & floor, so that no one is either too rich or too poor.

There's something very askew with the world when Kim Jong Un seems to be more in touch with reality than the US president.

Manifest destiny

"Space Colonization

Donald Trump was the first president to use the phrase "manifest destiny" during an inaugural address[122] declaring an extension of American influence "into the stars" with ambitions to plant the American flag on Mars."
