I saw these guys when they came out here; it was a triple bill, The Kinks, P J Proby & The Honeycombs, must have been early 60s as I was still at school. These guys were brilliant, the other two not so much.

I saw Sonny Terry and Brownie McGhee playing "When The Levee Breaks" in Christchurch Town Hall, James Hay Theatre, it was a wonderful concert made me have dreams/hallucinations whilst watching them play as if I had been there as well at the actual event they're singing about.
I also saw "The End of the Golden Weather" a play by Bruce Mason performed by him reading it to us in The Art Centre and the same thing happened there, it was if it was a memory that I had as well.

Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee would have been well worth seeing, they were absolute masters of their genre. Weird stuff happens sometimes, & I think music may be a trigger.
