Housing; critics doubt govt claims

Apparently, there are a lot of doubting Thomas's out there who don't believe that this govt has actually managed to house 1000 children rather than temporary housing in motels. They say that if govt cuts down on emergency housing, that  means more people living in cars or becoming homeless.


It is quite difficult to see exactly how cracking down on unruly Kainga Ora tenants and emergency housing tenants will help, since those people they've 'cracked down' on will pesumably become homeless as a result.

They're pretty good at bashing beneficiaries,too, going by tonights news. It seems to be all about control.
