if you look at the size of japan and england on google maps, then the size of Tokyo in proportion to Japan in google maps then that looks rather generous?
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

That map is unreliable. London is ~1,500 km2 and has <10 million population whereas Tokyo is ~2,200 km2 and has over 37 million. Japan has 123 million people, UK 69 million. Also the UK's population is heavily concentrated to the SE England so focusing on London isn't an accurate comparison.

Yes, I expected it to be correct but you are right the area of Tokyo is exaggerated compared to London, sorry for the error.
