And if she's in Aussie she can't kill you...
Sadly she is far closer than that. Shes in Tauranga lol..
She calls him Donald Rump lol

morning ladies What a stunning start to the day we have.
RIP Dame Maggie Smith. What an amazing actress. You pretty much knew if she was in the movie, then it was going to be a goodie.
I'm going to be back weeding this morning and aim to finish it. As if weeding is ever finished. There are a couple of plants in pots that can be planted out in the garden as well. Slowly but surely filling in where the trees were. Madam Alfred has decided to stop sulking and grow. Roses are so tough.
The rabbits are back and the Furry One is in his element stalking them. One day they will regret letting him get so close.
Happy crafting

Morning everyone
Beautiful here which is great cos there are calf club days happening today.
Maggie Smith was Wonderful, well and Truel Earnt her Big sleep. RIP.
Im having a quiet weekend. Will mend Colleens cushion, the inner needs recovering too, and sew all the seams for strength. It looks like they pulled the inner out and washed both. And the inner cover is shredded. Pillocks.
Have a fab day everyone

Had me in tears that news. No more hilarious moments with her quick wit and meaningful looks. I loved watching her. That group of old ladies made me relish being elderly.

Agreed, anything with Maggie Smith was going to be worth seeing. There aren't many left with her skills & wit.

So, being in one of those teetering into dark places moods, I made lemon curd. Which is sunshine in a jar. Three of them in fact. And finger licked the pan. Then planted three seedling punnets, yellow pear tumbling tomatoes, I'm thinking a basket or two, freckles lettuces, though that seed might be a bit old, and raging red nasturtiums that supposedly have blue leaves. Again, to cascade among the yellow tomatoes. And the blue lake beans are pushing up - so lots of good things to be grateful for. Still some dark in my day though, so I may have to get the vack out.

Put some music on, I find that helps a bit. That, & belly dancing around the living room - doesn't half get a funny look from Madame Le Dog!
I planted some tomatoes - probably foolishly as we're still getting coolish nights here, but have persuaded myself that some of that corrugated plastic stuff will protect them if I remember to cover them later.
I intend to plant more in a couple of weeks; hopefully byt that time the beans will have popped up. Hope so, 'cos I can't remember which bit I planted them in!
The one possible good thing from her death, is that TV might just have a shedload of Maggie Smith movies & TV shows; fingers crossed they do.

Agree Music helps.
I transplanted MrP's radio into the sewing room.
Decided since the cushion inner was stuffed, the cover had simply broken down I used one of the new inners I had here, Brand new 45 cms one pushed into a 40 cms cushion over. I made a cover for that then fixed the seam on the cover. All around. So it should be fine to go for several more years. One of Colleens Grand daughters gave her the cushion .
Then I did some more diamond painting..
Dinner was left over lamb and gravy from my friends birthday roast when she visited with tatties. Skipped the greens since I had the meat.
Have to stay awake late tonight to catch up on one of my two fave shows that I managed to miss this week.. Ill be setting alarms when I get off here lol

morning ladies Daylight saving is upon us, that makes a four hour time difference between us and our son. Better tell him that
Maggie Smith movies would be awesome I liked the one with her in a yellow van. Might have to see what's on Netflix or Prime and do my own binge.
I need to do the recycling today and finish the last bit of weeding. And I think MrK wants to go for a scoot somewhere. Can't wait for the Blue Springs track to be reopened. It's a great walk and easy for scooters and the like. Everywhere we go he's saying, the scoot could go there so he's keen!
Tinkered away on the jacket again last evening, it's a slow process, especially with all the padded satin stitch and then back stitching.

Morning everyone
The motor was the reason I went with the Kenwood Mica.. Half price at Briscoe's at the mo too.
I enjoyed my hour sewing yesterday.. I should do more lol..
But Diamond painting is my thing at the mo. I will have 8 waiting in line for me when the next order arrives. My friend spoilt me, getting two for me, and Dianne gave me another..
The Black and White cat one I loved.. And it has 23 different colours in it. I was thinking maybe 6. There's a fair bit of purple in it too.. Pixelating pictures really picks up the colours.
Glad MrK is loving the Scooter Kiwimade. it was a waste of Money getting MrP one. he seldom used it and wouldnt go anywhere without me. And Im not a fast walker, never have been.
Have a fab day everyone

We saw a side-by-side scooter at Bayfair Mall a while ago. He was 'driving' and she was sitting beside him.

Morning everyone
Grey and dull here.
I finished my picture last night. Will upload a photo later.. For some reason that has become hard to do on my lappy. I'm very pleased with it. Its not really until you finish that you make out everything in the picture.
Im soo over listening to Wendy Petrie. She has a boring monotonous voice. Although she seems to be trying to improve it. And even Daniel is quieter today. Hopefully he got told of for being an obnoxious pig. BRING MATTIE BACK..!!!! lol
Off to see my ladies today, will take Colleen her cushion.
Have a fab day everyone
Edit to add, Apparently we Smashed the Largest Haka last night. Its on at 8-55am today..6531 people Apparently

morning ladies We are meant to hit 20 degrees today!
MrK has one of his many appointments today and we may take the scoot out with us for afterwards. May even have to dig out my sun hat for it.
Yesterday while weeding, I noticed the new groundcover my sister-in-law had given me had disappeared. Not dead and sitting there sadly, just gone. I suspect a sparrow has plucked it for nest building. They had been taking weeds as I weeded and probably thought the groundcover looked pretty good lol. They have also pretty much stripped the silverbeet so they are now covered with bird netting. There are a few small things needing done in the garden and I'll will get on with those today. It's meant to rain Wednesday and boy we need it. That westerly wind is drying everything out. I'll have to put the hose on the garden if the rain doesn't eventuate. Can't wait to see how the new pump with its awesome water pressure works with the sprinkler. Another day or two and the first of the roses will be blooming.
Happy crafting
