Stonehenge, altar stone Scottish
#1
Experts have discivered that the altar stone at Stonehenge is Scottish - that's an incredibly long way to move a stone - approximately 700 kilometres. It was thought to be Welsh until now; the latest studies show that it came froim north east Scotland.

If one was setting up a nexus point it would make sense to have a large rock from each of the distinctive areas of the British Isles that were to come to have a balance.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

There's really no good reason not to return them. Its clearly the right thing to do & these days we can make copies to exhibit if needed.

Why the hell are institutions always so reluctant to do the right thing. Dodgy
