They say it could take days for a final result. Poor America.

My god just as mad as our election results.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

So, Trump is leading the poll counts so far but the situation is likely to change (like in 2020) as the Red mirage/Blue wave phenomenon plays through. That scenario doesn't bode well for a well accepted result from Trump, again.

Just watching Trump and his supporters mouth off on Al Jazeera. One thing for sure if the final count reverses this victory the US will implode in anarchy and violence.
Trump's rhetoric is absolutely unhinged!

I cannot watch. Too many good people...

I've had enough of it. Muted the TV while I wait for a Skype call from a UK based friend.
What's also really apparent is the abuse and insults being hurled at Americans and their lack of intellect in voting Trump in on the Twittersphere. NZ is one of many countries with citizens telling Americans to not even think about considering their countries as a new home as a result of the US election result.
on a positive note, we should get another series of Our Cartoon President...

I think the US is in for some interesting times as the old proverb goes, and you know, possibly well earned in a lot of ways. The awful thing is just how many good and how many less intelligent people will be seriously harmed by this choice - both there and internationally. Nato and Europe, the Middle East, trade relationships, and climate change to just start off the list, let's hope the public service can keep some checks on the cohort pulling Trumps strings. And hope fate keeps the man healthy for the whole term, because that cohort will be looking to replace the old puppet with the younger and even worse surrogate carefully placed in the wings.
But oh, women, she had it right back last century - I'm glad I'm not a Kennedy... Mind you, just a thought, but we could do worse than be a bit proactive about adopting a few refugees. For instance, there are a few talk show hosts who could liven up our dying tv screens, lol...

15,000,000 Democrats didn't vote; a lot more women voted for Trump!!!!!

There have been several deaths due to their new abortion laws, & no doubt there will continue to be; the fact that women voted for this person is mind boggling.

Perhaps that 15,000,000 did not support either party, so would rather not vote at all. Either way, this is a win for democracy. I now have some faith that the majority of the population over there can see through all the lies through their biased media. Thats why Elon Musk purchased twitter to preserve free speech, no matter what crap people post there, its free of censorship which is a threat to democracy. I never could have expected such a landslide win for Trump, especially given the high number of fraudulent voters from the illegals, but its a fact that no ruling party in the US has won an election when things have got worse while under their administration. Trump got the women's vote as you say. Trump got the black Americans vote. Trump got the Latino vote. Trump got the working class vote, this says alot that these ones gave him their support in this election, despite him being a billionaire from the big smoke, he resonated with the US population. And all this talk about Trump being racist, yet these "minority" groups were supporting him? Its a bit of a parallel to our election, our govt got votes from across the political spectrum in much the same way. What can we expect from here? Expect a bunch of executive orders issued on day one. The wall will immediately resume construction. Mass deportations on an unprecedented scale will begin. Voter registration will become mandatory nationwide (just like here in NZ and most democracy's) And a bunch more great things that I cant list here or else it would take all day. Nuff said, the voters have spoken, its a democracy and the American people were smart enough to not choose someone based on gender, skin colour or wokeness.
