USA, Right assualt on women's rights

This might be a good time for setting up an underground line to get women to needed health services.

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

Interesting comment about the lack of misspelling in those protest signs. An indication of the level of intelligence of anti Trump vs MAGA supporters?

Its good to see that at least some are able to stand against the tangering nightmare & his mates. I so hope they can be removed without harming anyone further.

Trump is actually standing up for women's rights by removing woke policies set in place under Biden.
No more male boxers bashing up female boxers or competing in woman's sport, nor will they be allowed in female changing rooms.

So its okay for male boxers to bash up other male boxers?

I think I would rather see moves to genuinely protect women - and children - from rape and sexual exploitation, the stuff that is happening every day in every country, instead of making sure fewer than a dozen athletes cannot compete in the sports they trained for. Did you know one in four people have endured rape or sexual assault at some point in their lives CT? That means one in four of the people you know and love too. Ask them - if they trust you enough, they'll tell you.

Wouldn't fighting that be more productive than deciding who should be allowed to pee in which toilet?

And don't get me started on any government that seems to agree that womens bodies belong to males...

Oh, really? OK then how about this - all boys to have a vasectomy on reaching puberty, to be reversed once they mature & want a family?  You'd have no objection to that being compulsory?
Since you clearly believe women should have no rights over their own bodies..

As I said last time CT did a posting flurry it's only our forum version to the kid who throws rocks on the roof and then runs away. He only does it elicit a reaction so as per forum protocol 'don't feed the troll'.

Based on previous behaviour the silver lining is that we won't be hearing from him again for a couple of weeks or more so not worth wasting effort in replying to his provocative comments.

although if you leave them there without challenge then it probably adds a certain amount of tacit legitimacy to the post - I feel they need to be challenged in some way.  Maybe a cut and paste generic response?
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

He's a good example of the type of mentality that follows Trump and all his craziness; nice to have a real life example of the phenomenon here for us to hear and experience in NZ in all its randomness.

Do you think its a fair/even match for a male to be fighting a female? Dont you remember at last years olympics in France when the female boxer pulled out of the match?
Rightly so, she feared for her safety, a male is much stronger than a woman, its just pure biology.
Here is the story.

CT, pure biology is anything but simple, or pure. Genetics are a fascinating study, and the genetics of gender are mindblowing. The reality is there are multiple variations between male and female on a biological level, let alone the shades imposed upon the human creature by conditioning, psychology, sociology, and culture. It is just plain silly though, to base your opinions on other people's sexuality on the minor scandals of the Olympics, especially those beat ups via the tabloid media. It's like saying every human being can run a marathon because you've seen someone do it on tv.

As for the boxer story, instead of trusting The Guardian, check this out -

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imane_Khelif

It is a bit less sensational and a lot more accurate.
