Destiny Church Thuggery
#1
https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/desiny-chu...DGJ4BTE2U/

I have a great memory of the first ever Hero Parade in Queen Street, Auckland.  The Topps were singing on the back of a small truck, and when some random lout started yelling abuse they jumped off and chased him down the street until he disappeared into the crowd.   They returned to the truck and started singing again.

Destiny Church - Christian in name only. Thugs using the name of God and Jesus to power-trip. Ape-man peer group mentality, the strongest rule.

Trumpanzee, Luxon and their ilk have brought this type of behaviour to the foreground recently.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

"Man up?"

That lot may be a lot of things but man isn't one of them. Actual men tend to have considerably more intelligence & understanding than those religion crazed louts. Their views are damaging & has the effect of making them look unbelievably ignorant.

Really going around spouting views about God and Jesus shows them up for the type of humans they are.

If you watched Dune movie last night or have read the book you can see that it is at core a story about an exploiting society taking over a more primitive one by spreading a myth of a saviour (seeding a story to the populace through missionaries) who will come in the future to save everyone, these Destiny Church followers still haven't realized where it all came from and why. They are above all else, dumb, of course the Tamati brothers are no ones' fools, they have seen the opportunity and taken it.

They live on donations/tithes etc and every now and then need a soft target to focus the blind followers on to get them all revved up again about 'doing good' for the church and promoting the supremacy of God and Jesus.

Never thought I'd agree with Luxon!

SO brave of them going after a library event......

"Great job what you're doing but I want you to storm the library & shut it down & he said'Yep, I'm onto it, apostle"

'Apostle' ffs!

I don't. That isn't going too far, it is seriously out of order. If a bunch of patch wearing bikies did that they'd be arrested, that lot are no different. There has to be laws they are breaking surely? If not, there should be.

And no Mr Hipkins, Tamaki is not a boy. He's a predator who we need to deal with before he hurts more gullible people.

They don't seem to realize it but they will be going to hell when they die for hypocrisy and unforgivable stupidity.

Going to hell?

You use their own tools against them to get results, if they truly believe they would be worried but I suspect that they are just absolute scum using a pretext to exercise and spread their venom and utter basic outlook, venting their spleen on others who are weaker physically.

Of course, if it was a group of say,Bikies behaving in that way in a public library then their feet wouldn't touch the ground on their way to court.

Their behaviour surely wasn't that different - & they did seem to all be wearing a type of identifying patch - surely that at least, is now illegal...??

And given that the McBishop has surely encouraged these people to invade a public place & probably terrify any children present should he not also be held responsible?

Inciting public violence? Must be a law against that, surely?

The Police are heavily Catholic influenced, that's at least true in Chch, so they probably won't do much.

Catholics are not supporters of the destiny cult, at least, the ones I know certainly aren't. And that group includes a real bishop. If such things can be called real.

Came across this, a petition to add Destiny church 'man up' plonkers to the list of banned gang patches list.

No but Catholics are big power trippers and they don't like young people out and about at night organising music parties in warehouses around Chch.

The Police having little to do made a point of interrupting any night gatherings they can.

Chch is an old-fashioned city and the old-boy network is very strong and influential.

Destiny Church is a strong and well-known Christian group made up of another group even stronger and well known, not to be trifled with, the Police will handle the situation with kid gloves it's a potential powder keg.

Or a petition that actually carries a bit of weight rather than just being a vehicle to harvest contact information

Or do both...

I've signed & shared both.
