What do you bet our lot will stay very quiet on this question?

No guts.

They haven't really said a dicky bird so far...probably waiting for a cue from the orange peril.

Ah yes, the 'Oh, DO come to Aoteroa New Zealand, you'll be SO very, very welcome."

Just as long as you bring your many, many, millions with you... Rolleyes Big Grin Big Grin

I suspect that if many of that lot rock up here, expecting Kiwis to bow & scrape due to their being filthy rich, they may just be in for something of a shock... Big Grin Rolleyes

I wonder what Peter Thiel has done for this country. More to the point, I wonder if anyone has asked him...

I shouldn't think so; it seems to be simply a case of 'if you have lots of loot, then welcome to Enzed'

Given that this delightful govt have cut media funding, especially to independant journos, we may never know details.

Thank you for that. It reminds me and brings together all the scraps over the years.

And this most recent mention of New Zealand as a bolthole in the Fox interview seems to confirm our status in the Maga world.

How far Godzone has fallen.

What repulsive people they are.

Are none of the extremely wealthy aware of historic rises against very wealthy people when the gap between rich & poor becomes too wide, with the usual painful results for those who are poor? Or are they not averse to people - including children - dying of hunger just as long as they can keep their wealth, their Ferraris & gold toilets?
France? Russia?
Any bells ringing...?

Do they really think that can't happen again...

I'm sick to death of them, they seem so arrogant but at the same time ignorant and uninformed.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche
