How The Other Half Lives

Mark Zuckerberg Sailed 5,300 Miles With Two Superyachts Only to Helicopter Up a Mountain and Ski Down in Billionaire Style

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

I don't understand how anyone can spend vast amounts of money so self indulgently, apparently without it even entering their head that they could do far more worthwhile & probably far more rewarding, things with that amount.

Like this guy, Sadio Mane. He built a school, a post office  a hospital in his village.

in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

Zuckerberg has always been disliked by most who came across him even in his college days when he set up Facebook.

He has been accused of being an Alien in disguise (a joke of course, but pointed)

He's always been a ruthless businessman like MicroSofts original leader, Bill Gates, but of course these days Bill Gates is very generous with grants etc.

Yes, at least Bill Gates & his former wife have done some good with what they gained.

Not worried about the environment either hey heisenberg, I guess God must be taking care of you and thus by extension all of us.

We are an accident zqwerty. A fluke of chemistry and energy. But, as energy is never lost, only transformed, hope remains...

Unfortunately, energy is degraded with use...a process called increasing entropy.

Depends though, on how you define degradation. Sometimes that is just a process of change.

Yes I guess so, then who is looking after the Earth and protecting it from the billions of people now doing whatever they like to the ecosystem. Once upon a time there were far fewer people and it wasn't such a worry.

Is it just a fast train ride to hell and inevitable that any intelligent species faces this challenge and non succeed in beating it because after all we haven't been visited by space faring aliens so far as we know? Also known as the great filter.
