The Arsonists in charge of our health system
#41
My experience with them lead me to distrust the initiator and his motives. A bit of research about his background backed that up. Trust is really important in a forum, unless of course a participant has an agenda that doesn't require that.

If this news is true, we might see refugees. I am grateful we have good moderators and in that case, I wish them the best of luck.

That's interesting Hunni.     Is it a political motive or a financial one?

I took a look at that site in its early days and even back then its toxicity was such that I withdrew after about two weeks.

Seems unlikely though.

Then if that's the case I hope we get those few good ones, slightly left-ish most of them, who were still there.

I really don't know anything about the person who started it apart from their views on allowing constant racist comments to go unchecked.

I stuck it out longer, but then admin had provided a separate area where slightly leftish posters could talk amongst themselves without constant harrasment. but then suddenly somehow mysteriously all the other posters found out...& it went west.
The racism was I thought, well OTT & by the time i copped the second ban I'd had enouch of the constant targeting & didn't bother returning, apartt from occasionally posting some music.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

Only if you are allergic to respect. And empathy. And humour. But stick around, repeated exposure can eliminate that particular unhealthiness.

This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.
