Who did you speak to today?
#1
Wink
The cat, several strangers I passed on the way, two librarians, the supermarket fruit guy, then Robbie who sorts out the meat, and the checkout girl and the packing lady, then more strangers on the way home, and a neighbour who graciously refused to rehome half my enormous cauliflower... dammit...

So, who did you speak to today?  Smile

My wife, my son who is moving back home in a couple of weeks, and his dog Charlie. That's enough for one day...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

A person I have known for almost as long as I have been in NZ, Rose, I talked to her over the phone, other than that absolutely no one.

I haven't physically seen anyone all day except on TV.

I live in a retirement village full of old people so it's too cold to be wandering about and no one has walked down the road.
It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

I said thank you to the checkout operator, still prefer her to the self service machine which won't stop talking to me. I said lots of things to my cat.

Oh I feel positively sociable now compared to you hermits! Mind you, tearing round the streets with a silly grin on my face might be an advantage when it comes to conversing with other intelligent beings...

My husband and the neighbours' cat and goats.   That's enough for me.

DH and 4 strangers (went to the beach, 3 were curious about what I was doing when I was watching skinks in the rocks, one was reassuring me that his dog was safe) + 4 cats (ours and 3 neighbours) + 3 dogs (2 neighbours and the dog at the beach).

We are in such good company, the way we all talk to four legged intelligences...

So far, just the dog & the cat - but then I havne't been out anywhere yet, that'll be a bit later.
I suppose being told off twice by said cat counts...?

No one today, except the Tatty cat. Though expletives may have been uttered out loud at some of the youtube political offerings today.

I did learn a lot though, courtesy of Richard Wolff, about China and their BRICS empire building.
