Anyone using a "mini PC" ??
#1
My current desktop  is coming to the end of it's life.  I've had it  since 2012 currently running Win 11 23h2. Doesn't  do  well on 24h2.I'm looking at a mini PC to  replace it  as I don't  do  gaming but a little video  editing.  Unfortunately  here in NZ  there is a dearth of mini PCs.  I've looked at PB Tech who  have quite a few  and have virtually  settled on this one https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/WKSPB52...Mini-Busin but wonder if having DDR4 RAM rather than DD5 RAM will have much of an effect
Your thoughts??

DDR5 being the later also implies the rest of the hardware will be more modern as well - some of the hardware on the market atm is from a couple of generations ago.. DDR5 is twice as fast as DDR4

But real world, probably won't notice any difference
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

I did a long time ago when my laptop died and I opted for a cheapie. No, it wasn't ideal. But it did give me time to save up for a real one, lol...

I decided to buy the one at PB Tech as it was on a sale and looks like a runout model. Also ordered a two external drive enclosure for the other two HDs in the old PC.
