Lilith, I think the evil bit is right on the button.  Yes, landlords need to make a profit and yes, rates, insurance etc are going up in price.  But rents also have to be fair.

Doctor said my blood pressure is up but isn't going to worry about it seeing as she saw how stressed I was over MrK.  And I can keep going with the diabetic meds for my heart.

Another corner of the garden has been weeded and surprise, surprise, mrK asked if I still hated a particular shrub and would I mind cutting it out.  That was a very happy yes and no, I wouldn't mind at all, from me.  So, one cabbage tree and one awful shrub (the leaves won't even rot down in compost) to go.  Only three quarters of one fenceline to weed and the garden is ready to face spring.

Well, I'm glad it isn't just me. I'd like to see us in the future, try to encourage the better side of human nature rather than the worst.  Maybe one of these days..

Did dreaded shopping, took Madme le Dog for her walk & then got a spurt of energy so pruned the rose & then transplanted a few more violets, having first dug out more of those blardy primroses & filled the green bin, so now I'm knackered & not doing anything more today...apparently I'm not 25 any more. That looks stunning - love it! Well I would, what with purple being my favourite colour. Wink
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)

Oh Hunnie I Absolutely Love it.. Purple is not my first choice, but I do have some purple items.

That is going to go down wonderfully...

Ill be having some pudding later.. Need to get up shortly and put the chicken in. Since I had a late lunch, dinner will be later than normal.

I could be very tempted to put the chicken in the fridge and have the last two scones, and then the pudding..

Yes I think that will work well, and there will be enough pudding left over for tomorrow.

It feels weird not making a cake for Gayle, but I asked her what she would like..

I better get up and do that painting tho

Lilith do you shop every day?  I know some who do, I like to avoid the shop as long as I can lol... Mind you that means lugging in too much at one time.

Ive cut my pepsi consumption down Yayay but replaced with bottled water so no relief from the bottles
Big Grin They told me I couldn't, so I did.!! Big Grin

No, I shop once a week, with the big pantry shop once a fortnight. I am not a fan of shopping, unless it is for pretties online, lol...

Mostly just once a week, but if I can't fit it all on the bike  or I forget something then sometimes another day as well.

Thing is they have their gold card special day once a week at Woolies so worth doing the bulk of it then.

morning ladies Smile Only a light frost this morning, or maybe I'm just toughening up lol.

I love the coat, OHH Smile Your friends will be surprised when you take it off lol.

Ozzy Osbourne has passed away. I've always loved Black Sabbath, might dig out his music and have a Sabbath Day at some stage Tongue

More weeding today and the plan is to finish along the last fenceline and pick up the piles of weeds I have everywhere. Then I can dig out the tiger lilies and replant them away from the fence. One wheelie bin is already full of weeds and rose prunings. The native buttercup I thought was lost is going nuts. Can't wait to see it flowering.

The 'piddlers' for the car windscreen emptied yesterday so I refilled it and checked the oil and water while I was at it. Simple stuff but needs to be done every now and then.

MrK's home help will be here soon, better get cracking Smile
Life is a one time offer, use it well
