Morning everyone
Beautiful day in the bay today, pitty I'm stuck in an office.
Morning tea time here
Miss 13 and I are off to try squash tomorrow afternoon. We both play netball normally but her season has finished and I'm taking a break from indoor so squash it is (will see if we like it) haha
Popeye I love your cabinet, the handles look great.
Have a great day everyone, hope the fiery creatures have a good one too

lol @ OCD... add me to the group. I like things done in a certain way and my routines.
Thames Radiology phoned and we have an appointment for MrK's CT scan next week. A good excuse to have the best fish and chips for lunch too. We'll take a lemon and paper towels
A bit more weeding has been done, it's not hard as the soil is lovely and soft after all the rain.
I've never tried squash, more of an athletics person. Loved long distance running, anything from 1500m to the 10000m.
I love the handles, popeye. Perfect for the table.
Life is a one time offer, use it well

I have another but TM wont let me upload it.. Do they have more silly rules I haven't noticed?
I haven't been out to see the grapevine. Ill look another day.
I've had a very lazy day, down the Christmas shopping temu hole and did my games.
Also caught up with another girl I went to school with who was wondering if I knew one of the school Hunks.. Umm Nope and I reminded her I liked the teacher's not the boys lol Asked Gayle she didn't remember him either.
I do remember one of the better looking ones tho, cos it used to majorly upset a lot of the " in " girls, cos the guy and I used to have soo much fun together, especially in Science and Book Keeping. Maybe cos I just liked him as a boy, I wasn't after his body lol.
Was nice tripping down memory lane for a while tho.
Oh - those look just right there, don't they, & the flowers look gorgeous too.

Went into Whitcoulls to pick up Listener - like an idiot I browsed books first, so now I'll have to go back at some point, having spotted a board book which will do for newest great granddaughter for xmas.
Very interesting article in Listener; it seems some people who are very overweight have different gut bacteria to those who are leaner, & they can be helped with a 'faecal transplant', aka 'poo pill' which sounds bizzare, but is apparently really effective.
I tried to donate blood years ago, but they wouldn't let me, said i didn't weigh enough. I was in my early 20's & about 7 stone. Then years later I'd had infectious hepatitis so couldn't donate - & now, I'm too old.
I donated for decades, and then one visit I got pulled into an office to give a full medical history again - had done one a couple of years earlier, and got told because I was B12 deficient I couldn't donate any more. Weird I thought cos they'd had that in their records for years... But okay, rules change I guess...
Pity because I am B Rh neg and they need that type quite often.
I suppose they have to be careful, but when there's one they're in need of you'd think they'd be more onto it.

I used to donate, a group from work would go annually, once diagnosed with leukemia that came to an abrupt halt.
Many years ago one of the nurses, from Nurse Maude, that I had dealings with, died from CJD, very sad, she was living in England for a time. Did not show any symptoms for years after returning home.
KM that is beautiful, you are extremely talented.
Good news about the scan, once that is done things will move quickly.
Popeye that looks lovely, the handles definitely suit that table.
Zoe, squash, you must be fit, puts me to shame!!!
Right the sun is out, have trimmed one dogs nails, think I will have to hogg tie the other to do his, have handled his feet since he was a pup, but he hates them being touched.
Now, outside to clean and polish the car and get it on autotrader, cannot have it sitting here.
OHH, those blinds would do my head in as well, they all have to be the same height in this house

Yep the Blinds would annoy me too Hunnie.. Its not hard to level things up. Don't they know they mess with our heads lol..
KM which shop do you get your fish and chips from in Thames? We were planning on going to the one next to Farmers in the main street but a lady in one of the other shops we went in said it had changed hands.. That doesn't surprise me really they were quite senior when I went a couple of years ago.
Im not a sports person at all, I used to enjoy swimming when younger but my mother couldn't afford for me to join the club. Did quite well in the school comps tho.
Watching my fave is Cricket of course.
Didn't find an egg beater, but came home with a snazzy red cushion, a picture frame that will fit one of my pictures. A turntable, always handy. A 3 tier Cake stand plate. Original price was $59-99, from Stevens, I got it for $8. Plain white. I can see it decorated with Christmas stuff on the coffee table.
The Calla Lillies on the table are pretty for pretend ones. I actually just ordered more cos the vase isn't full
The fridge is sorted yay. So my games and then some painting this afternoon. And Ill actually cook tea. I just want hungry yesterday.
They told me I couldn't, so I did.!!

Lilith, I love that, and I will give it a go, before I have a shower, I think it could get messy, last time they were done the vet had to sedate him, got to find a cheaper method.
Will let you know the outcome, definitely not going to video it, if he takes a chunk out of my forehead, I will blame you.

Love the clip GJW I think a video is in Order lol
Kiwi, your work is amazing, your so very talented. Hunni, your jacket a while back was amazing too. I love seeing everyone's projects.
GJW I wouldn't say fit haha, I think I'll be complaining and unable to move on Thursday. I coped with indoor netball which some say is fast and full on, but I've done a bit of research on this game they call squash and hmmmmm, I'm kinda regretting my decision.........
Time will tell I guess
I could never run like KM, or swim like Popeye tho

There is no way I would be game enough to give the Furry One a pedicure... besides, the vet nurse does a wonderful job, and I am happy to pay her to do it.

Morning everyone
Looks sunny out so far.
Housie today. although Im in one of those do I want to go out today..... But I know Ill enjoy it when I get there
Thankfully Dianne only has a head cold, phew she really doesn't need anything more on top of the cancer etc. I learnt she has to have a blood test the day before each dose of Chemo, so she is coming with me tomorrow. Will probably make it a weekly thing since it will help her and save more running about re Paul and his job too. Anything I can do to help Im happy to do and we get to have fun together. She's coming on the Egg Beater Hunt lol.. We will go into the oppy neither of us have been in in Pukekohe.
We never trimmed the dogs claws, but we used to play a water game, on concrete. Using the hose, the dogs chased the water and wore their claws down at the same time.
Have a good day all
