Luxon wants voting speeded up

He claims the voter counters are 'the slowest folk on the planet'. The electoral commiision has told the justice commitee that the changes won't speed things up.

The only ones wanting the counting speeded up are the pollies. We've been without a government a few times for a few weeks, and nothing bad happened. In fact it was pleasantly peaceful.

Do you think that might be why - they don't want us to get used to it?
