Look at the shine on graces fur.. Named extremely well.

Im not sure how to put [photos on here without putting them on trade me first. I use a lappy if that makes any difference, if anyone can say how to do it.

Have painted for about 2 hours so far, nearly finished the back.

Madam sits with me when I paint.
Popeye, there is a box that says attachments at the bottom of where you type. Just click to upload or drop your photos. I use a laptop to. Here's a couple of our current two, Harley and Quinn, 3 year old rescue sisters

You need to start a 'new' conversation in the thread to make attachments, popeye. Instead of clicking on reply, click on 'new'. It's all there at the bottom of the page.

I'm also loving the pics, they certainly put a smile on the dial Smile

Waikato Hospice called to see if we needed any help, but until we have seen the oncologist, there really isn't anything we can do. I've been through MrK's list of people he wanted me to contact, and they were all shocked to hear the news. have appointments with WINZ, our GP and the bank. Now I'm feeling like I have some control over what is happening and MrK is feeling better for it as well. Quite a few things have been ticked off the list today Smile

morning ladies Smile I'm hoping the weather will clear as I our lawn guy is coming to remove some very large pieces of concrete I dug out of the garden. I had planned on using them as steppingstones along the side of the house but realised this winter just how slippery they could become. Once they have gone, I can move a small pile of clay and the guys from the Men's Shed can then come and empty an outdoor cupboard of timber. Like dominoes lol.

Our nieghbour has said he will help dismantle the BBQ with me and he will take the half full gas bottle for their BBQ. There's also half a box a beer he can have as well. MrK has given me a list of things he would like done, stuff he wanted to do before all of this hoo-haa and this is part of it.

My second rose is in flower, Madam Alfred Carriere. She's a beautiful white rose with just a touch of blush pink occasionally. After all this rain, the weeds have gone bonkers so there is plenty to keep both hands and mind busy. Mica, I hope the rose with spray drift is recovering. Spray drift is one of the reasons I hate spraying but when I have to, spray very early when everything is still.

Glad you found how to post pics, popeye lol. Funny how we think we see things, but don't. Lovely pics of Madam.

The Furry One wants to play Smile Enjoy your day.

The Tat and I had an argument last night and .i was put in the norty corner for a couple of hours. She had spent most of the day following me around and sitting on me whenever the opportunity arose and by evening I had had enough of added weight so I popped her on the floor a couple of times. Well, message received, and I was presented with her back, ears slightly flattened, and a lot of huffing. It was so funny I eventually gave in and apologised.

Don't ever let yourself believe our furred companions do not understand the spoken word. Or that we humans are in charge. Apology accepted, normal service resumed.

Morning everyone

The sun is out at this stage. It was dull grey all yesterday.

Oh Hunnie they know how to almost silently reprimand us dont they. Madam has bowls of bikkies on the coffee table but still insists on asking me for some.

That's the hard part of being in hospital for me, knowing she is missing the contact and treats. Although Aunty Erin does spoil her, its not me.

Glad you are getting things done KM,, it makes things easier later.

Barring the odd missed black spots, Ive done the big areas so playing with colours now. Enjoying this one.

I will work on that today..

Im having a I dont know what I want for dinner day.. I hate deciding, it was easier with MrP being there. Cos I varied his diet. I dont with mine.

Might take a walk around the garden later, and see if I can spot some fruit on the Plum tree. Oh Terry the over the back Neighbour came over for some lemons the other day and he said the plums are red on the outside and a pinky yellow inside. He said the peaches are always sweet but couldnt remember what kind. One of this friends rented this house too lol.

Have a fab day everyone

Two and a half hours in the garden and I feel so much better. I needed to do something physical and practical and weeding fitted the bill. I know about the $50 popeye, it's in the brochure I was given about long term care. I will be asking about it when I see the WINZ lady next week. I'll also be on the supplement benefit thanks to my heart. And MrK is allowed $56 a fortnight from his super for his bits and bobs too. Yes, he will be staying at Pholen Smile so local.

I found an ants nest while sorting some stuff in the garage rafters this morning. It is no more Tongue

Out first thing down to Sydenham again to the mall this time...only to discover that they no longer have a Trade Aid shop there!
The only one left is apparently Merivale. But all was not lost - I was on the hunt for some vegan chocolate for DIL's birthday next month & ventured into Ballantynes department shop - one of the poshest & most expensive shops (& somewhat snobbish) in town back in the day.

And managed to find some, with the help of a lovely young man - I'd forgotten my reading glasses & had to ask him to check it was vegan for me. He was very helpful - & as camp as a row of tents, & I couldn't help hoping that the former snobby management were rotating rapidly in their graves...

I made scones. Cheese and apple and onion and carrot and celery and yellow capsicum and herbs and more cheese. My excuse was the temperature drop, I changed clothes and was still cold so I cooked.

Full tummy and much warmer, all better now, lol.

Yummy Hunnie.

Nothing beats a nice warm with real butter cheese scone.. Hope you added cayenne pepper.. It helps the Cheese shine.

Transport is all sorted. Car will be away. I will have visitors cos Dianne will be having chemo later the same day and Gayle has dialysis on the Saturday.

Gayle is taking me up, Dianne will pick me up in my car.

Just need to transfer drink into my bag. Get another key for Aunty Erin. And put my last minute things in the bag on the Thursday before.

Kiwimade, that's great that MrK is able to stay at Pohlen, makes it so much easier for you. Sounds like you are doing what you need to to look after yourself.

MrP did jam with cheese. Never understood that.

But I do Love a bit of cheese with Fruit cake.. and often think, after having an apple that it might go good with cheese.

But haven't tried that yet
