Ads - the ones we love, or hate or want to rewrite.

There's an ad I'd love to see rewritten; the kid buying a bar of chocolate for her mum's birthday using buttons. I'd change it so when the kid exits the shop, the mum praises her & says that, if they do 6 more dairies today, then she can flog them off at the market tomorrow. Big Grin Big Grin

That awful road toll ad.

And any ad with that beastly green tracksuited idiot in it. And the seniors funeral insurance ones. And the goldfish.

Thank goodness for streaming.

The Noel Leeming one during the Winter Olympics had me actively wanting to throw a chair at the television.

the marketing department would say that since you have all remembered the brands they are perfect and nothing needs to be changed...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

The current one which annoys me is that idiot New World ad which doesn't seem to understand whether its aimed at Kiwis or Americans.
And the one for - either McDonalds or KFC with the red haired teen kid & the dad apparently bonding over their awful food.

Why are there so many red-headed kids in adverts? You see way more of "them" on TV than you do in real-life.

i believe many parents push their gingers into work early looking for some upside to their procreation.

Except I deliberately choose not to buy from these idiots.

Add V to my list. Butterfly roadkill is not a subject for laughter. Even tiny lives deserve respect.
